Location:

• Green Oaks Apothecary Parking Lot, 2238 1st St., Olde Towne Slidell.
• Street parking is available for everyone.

Vendor Guidelines:

• While crafts don't need an LGBTQIA+ theme, booths must be LGBTQIA+-friendly.
• The Connect Art Market Committee reserves all rights to vendor approvals.
• Please be vigilant as security is not provided.

Application Requirements:

• Attach 3 images of your work.
• Notification will be sent via email regarding your application status.
• Each month, 25 artists will be selected.
• Layout/instructions provided a week before the event.
• Vendors must handle their own sales taxes.

Prohibited Items:‍

• Weapons (e.g., firearms, knives, fireworks).
• Drugs, tobacco products, and pharmaceuticals.
• Stolen or pirated items.
• Bulk-sold, new, mass-produced items (e.g., sunglasses).
• Pornographic content.
• Any items violating local and federal laws.

Booth & Vendor Regulations:‍

• Booth size: 10' x 10'.
• Vendors provide tables, chairs, signs, tents, displays, and racks.
• Ensure tents are adequately weighted.
• Booths must be manned at all times.
• Vendors can set up between 8:00 - 9:45 AM.
• Booths must remain set up until 4:00 PM. Early pack-up results in forfeiture of future participation.
• Maintain cleanliness. Public bins are not for vendor waste.
• Absent vendors lose future market privileges.
• Space rent due one week prior to the event.

Rental Fee:

$50 (Refund of $25 post-event).

Connect Art Market Maker’s Liability Policy

1. Introduction:
This Liability Policy outlines the responsibilities and obligations of vendors and participants ("Parties") at the Connect Art Market ("Market"). The Market is produced by Connect Northshore Inc. and hosted by Green Oaks Apothecary. By participating in the Market, all Parties agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.

2. General Liability:
All Parties participating in the Market are individually responsible for any damages, losses, personal injuries, or other liabilities that may occur as a result of their actions, negligence, products, or equipment.

3. Insurance:
While Connect Northshore Inc. provides general liability insurance coverage for the Market, this does not extend to individual vendors or their products. Vendors are strongly advised to carry their own general liability and product liability insurance.

4. Indemnification:
All Parties agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Connect Northshore Inc., Green Oaks Apothecary, the Market, its organizers, sponsors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Market.

5. Product Safety:
Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that their products comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Any vendor found to be selling non-compliant or unsafe products may be immediately removed from the Market.

6. Venue Safety and Damage:
Green Oaks Apothecary, as the host venue, will ensure that the premises are safe for the Market. However, vendors are responsible for any damages they cause to the property of Green Oaks Apothecary. In the event of property damage, the responsible vendor will be liable for repair or replacement costs.

7. Agreement:
By participating in the Market, all Parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Liability Policy.
